Kratom Strains

There are many different varieties of Kratom also known as “strains” that you will see. The strains are defined by a color and a region (ex, Red Bali, Green Malaysian, White Sumatra). Each strain has slightly different effects. These strains different from supplier to supplier. You may get slightly different effects of the same strain from two different suppliers.

Red Vein

Red Vein are known to work better for pain sedation.

Green Vein

Green Vein is more stimulating than red but lasts longer.

White Vein

White Ven is good for energy and mood enhancing and tend to be more stimulating.

Maeng da

The Maeng da Strian originated in Thailand but Maeng da does come in a Malaysian and a Indonesian stain. Maeng da can be green, red or white in color. Maeng da can act as a stimulant, increasing energy while inducing feelings of happiness while reducing pain. Some have reported feeling more outgoing after taking Maeng da.

Indo

Just like its name suggests, the Indo strain comes from Indonesia and it also comes in Red, Green and White veins. Indo is known to be less stimulating than Maeng da. Indo is known to increase relaxation, increase sense of comfort, relieve pain, as well as pain management.

Bali

The Bali strain is red in color and originates from Indonesia. Bali is known to provide efficient pain relief. Some Bali users have noted a “opioid-like” feeling compared to any other strain. It known to help relieve depression like pain as well as chronic pain.

Green Malay

The Green Malay strain is dark green and originates from Malaysia. Green Malay provides energy, focus and provides pain relief with a low dose, but at a high dose, Green Malay can have more of a sedative effect and can help with anxiety at any dose.

Thai

Like its name, Thai strain Kratom comes from Thailand. Thai strain comes in all color veins (Red, Green and White). The effects of the Thai strain depend on the color vein that is used.

Green and white strains of Thai are known to provide incentive and create an exhilarated “high”. While the red strain of Thai is known to aid in pain relief.

Borneo

The Borneo Strain comes from the island Borneo. The Borneo strain is available in green, white and red veins. The Borneo strain is thought to have a more sedating effect when taken and would be good to use for anxiety and stress.

Malaysian

The Malaysian strain comes from Malaysia and comes in all color veins (Red, Green and White). The Malaysian strain is known to have both stimulating and sedative effects. It is known to lift your mood, relieve pain all white increasing energy and focus.
